Running ocean models on GPU

Hi, all,
I just came across this new paper about running a Python-based ocean model on GPUs achieving better performance than traditional CPU-based parallel simulations:

Since you mention it, there was a short paper circulating around back in ~2011 about running ROMS on a NVIDIA GPU. I don't remember what it said, but I attached it to this post.
