Timestamp of ROMS diagnostic files

Dear All,

Could someone please clarify that the time-dependent values in diagnostic files are averaged values or instantaneous values?
I noticed that the timestamp of diagnostic files is not the same for history files, but the same for averaged files.
I wonder if the diagnostic values are averaged values.

I use COAWST ver 3.5 (ROMS v3.7?)

Yes, the diagnostics are time-averaged.
