Assimilation of SSH

Hello everyone,

In ROMS 4dvar, we can assimilate the observed ssha to the model. When assimilate the ssha, I was wondering how assimilated ssha influence the other variable such as temperature and salinity? I was trying to find the code regarding this issue, but I couldn't.
