MetOceanSolutions Meteorological Service of New Zealand are looking for an oceanographic data scientist to help support their data assimilation efforts.
Purpose: To lead the collation, quality control, processing, and archiving of existing oceanographic observational datasets to assist in relevant research projects and the ongoing operational ocean forecast and hindcast activities within the MetOcean team. This role will initially contribute to the Moana Project (www.moanaproject.org), a nationwide research project in collaboration with the main oceanographic institutions in New Zealand.
