Roms model output temperature is high

#1 Unread post by surja »

Dear all,

I have run Agrif version model for Indian ocean for 7 years with climatological data . The out put temperature is good for entire domain up to 50 meter depth through out the year. The result is not good from 50 meter to 300 meter throughout the year.At Some places the temperature difference between model output and WOA2009 data is crossing 3 degree.
Please see the figure in the attached file.

Please give me suggestion or things form which I can solve the problem.

If those are diffs, it looks like the thermocline is the wrong depth. Is it getting worse with time? Which vertical mixing scheme are you using? Have you tried any others?

Thank you for reply.
I have used LMD- KPP vertical mixing scheme. I do not use any other mixing scheme.
Also model generates strong surface current in equatorial region.
