tides forcing on a flat bottom

Hello everybody,

I am experiencing problems with the boundaries in a test case that is not realistic, but I think should give me kinetic turbulence generated only at the bottom. First let me explain the real problem I am analyzing: It is a small area with shallow water. I applied tide forcing to the area and gave me some results that seem reasonable (please see attached figures of a cross-section at day = 3). Then, in order to investigate whether my forcing was correct, I set the bottom as flat and put no stratification. In the first (realistic case) the file attached is Ysec_real.gif, the next two files Ysec.gif and Xsec.gif are cases with the bottom almost flat and same forcing as in the realistic case.

Seems obvious that I have problems with the boundary. My *.h file is as follows: I will appreciate your help!
