Dear fellows,
In the sediment model, there has to be at least one bed layer so that the sediment can settle onto the sea floor.
One interesting thing is that it will still produce sediments even you have set the thickness of the only one bed layer to be 0, whether you set the bed porosity to be 0.5, 1 or else. I get this problem when I want to see how the pure river sediment transport on the shelves.
This is really interesting. I don't know if this is a bug.
Any ideas?

the bed layer can be = 0. This can occur if all the sediment is eroded, then that location will result with bed_thck = 0. Another way is to start the model with bed_thck = 0 everywhere, let the sed come in from the river, and then see where it deposits. So a value of 0 is a valid value for bed_thick. It should not go negative.
