what's going on with my zeta field?

#1 Unread post by px123 »

Could anyone help to see what's going on with my zeta field. It's really weird. This happens after a few steps from the initial. Thanks!

And is it possible to plot two consecutive time steps to see how
the phase of zeta field changes from one 3D time step to the next?

We need to know a bit more. What is the amplitude on these things? What is your minimum water depth? Are those meant to be tides and how did you introduce them? What do you want to learn about the Bering Sea?

It is possible that this is due to not properly conditioning you model bathymetry. Perhaps, you are too shallow. I will that a look at your bathymetry smoothing or the lack of it.
