Hi everyone,
Is there a flag or an option allowing to choose between x-y and/or lon-lat coordinates for the output files, particularly the history files ?

There is a flag, SPHERICAL, which comes from your cppdefs file. It is assumed that you will only have x,y for idealized cases and lat,lon for more realistic cases and SPHERICAL tells the model which is in use.
