how many tidal harmonic coefficient are necessary?

hi,all!
I want to simulate the tidal current of hangzhou bay of eastchina sea at least one year, and how many tidal coefficient do i add to OBC? any hint will be appreciated!

If you look at tidal records for that bay, you should be able to determine which ones are important there. My script always adds eight constituents - four diurnal and four semi-diurnal, but they aren't all important everywhere.

So you can add them all or find out which are the strongest and add only them, your choice.
