Maybe for the next roms meeting they should hand out socks instead of t-shirts !

So, who votes we have the next workshop in Alaska?

Kate: how many lines of code can you get on a pair of socks? Can you make it 3-D?

I second the motion to have the next meeting in Alaska (Fairbanks).

I further move that a prize be given to the participant that traveled the greatest distance to get there.

Let me know and I'll ask around for a suitable space. The NPRB guys like to go to Girdwood off-season, but that's not near here. A suitable prize? Come during January and we'll take you for a walk around the block (takes almost three hours - ask Enrique). Or I could ask my boss to take you dog mushing.

Edit: Better is a trip to Santa Claus House in North Pole. ;)

So, which sock design is yours? If not featured on the webpage, can we have a photo?? :)

I like em. Pretty cool.

Excuse my ignorance though, what were the strings for?

Rodrigo.

The strings are true to an Eastern European sock tradition, for hanging them.

That would be great to have ROMS in Fairbanks. I miss Fairbanks. Although I'd prefer March (great skiing season) or summer with "white nights" and (lots of mosquito) 8) . PLEASE not in January . I think I will be nominated for the prize for the longest travel to Alaska: from Florida this will be the opposite end of the US.
