Below you will my find the links for the flash movies that I used in my presentation that shows how the adjoint model is built. It shows how the
tangent linear model (TLM) is built from the nonlinear model (NLM). Then, it shows how the adjoint model (ADM) is built from the tangent linear model. It also shows how the representer model (RPM) is built from the tangent linear model. The RPM is used for weak constraint variational data assimilation via IOM indirect representer method.
