I’m going to simulate the Changjiang river plume. I got a problem about the tracer concentration.
When i define the ‘TS_U3HADVECTION’, the salinity goes to negative. Somebody told me that i should define ‘TS_MPDATA’ instead, there are no negative values then, but the model blows up after about 30 model days. I checked the output and found that there are some unreasonable oscillation of salinity far from the estuary, and the salinity goes to extremely large.
Any suggestions to why this is?
