Migrating Trench Test Case

Hi all,

I am trying to replicate the migrating trench test case on ROMS.



I was able to get the expected result for the initial bed thickness (blue line) then ran from restart of the initial simulatio.
But I did not get the expected final bed thickness (red line). The trench got deeper instead of migrating to east.


I am using the ROMS from COAWST ver201903. What other setting am missing out?

yes i saw your other email. it is on my list. i have not run this case in a while. give me a little time to try it out.

Also in the paper there's no morphological factor on the initial run (blue line), but the simulation from the test case in roms has morph_fac=180; while the for next simulation (red line) I set the morph_fac to 90.
