Operational Coupled Forecast Systems?

#1 Unread post by andres »

Hi,

I am looking for examples of operational ocean forecasting systems with atmosphere and/or wave coupling. Any info is appreciated.

FYI, our NC State operational forecast has been updated, we call it the Coupled Northwest Atlantic Prediction System (CNAPS) now.

A few years ago PacIOOS had a Honolulu domain forced by waves (not exactly coupled) that I helped set up. The description can be found at: https://www.ocean-sci.net/13/31/2017/os-13-31-2017.html
Not related to ROMS - MetOcean Solutions (New Zealand) have been implementing some domains coupling circulation and waves using SCHISM model.

Cheers
