one-way nesting

#1 Unread post by pooran »

would you please tell me that in Multiple Refinement Sub-Class state , there is just one-way nesting? It meas: does coarser grid is just as a donor and finer grid as a receiver?
all the best

In wikiroms you said:
Notice the duality of a ROMS nested grid: data donor in one contact region and data receiver in its conjugate contact region. The exchange of information is always two-way.
Is that confirmed even if using #define ONE-WAY option?
cheers

Hi,
I would appreciate a lot to know the answer to this question. For a one-way nesting I compile with #define ONE-WAY?

From cppdefs.h:
** NESTING use to activate grid nesting: composite/refinement **
** ONE_WAY use if one-way nesting in refinement grids **
It has to be ONE_WAY, not ONE-WAY.
