Creating Initial Condition using matlab script d_initial.m

Hi ROMS Users/Developers
I am confused about the data which should be given as input for the matlab script provided with ROMS called d_initial.m. Can anybody show the header information of the OA file like what is used in d_initial.m? My Doubts are
1) Should I give an input having regridded to ROMS Vertical coordinate?
2) Should I extract the input data over my Domain before using the d_initial.m ?
