Re: Wave+Current interaction
All of those things were essentially what I was getting at. That actually answers my question pretty explicitly, thanks John!

Wave+Current interaction
Are wave enhanced currents calculated in ROMS by simply forcing with waves, or are there more complicated steps to turn this feature on?
I have a realistic model setup and would like to add in wave forcing for sediment resuspension and transport.

Re: Compiling with analytical sediment
I figured it out, I was using the ana_sediment from the User folder so there were ??? instead of values, got it to compile when i used the settings from sed_test.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Compiling with analytical sediment
I'm trying to turn on the sediment transport features with the newest version of ROMS and am running into problems compiling with ANA_SEDIMENT as my initial sediment conditions. I'm using these options: #define SSW_BBL #ifdef SSW_BBL #define SSW_CALC_ZNOT #define SSW_CALC_UB #endif #define SEDIMENT ...

Re: compile error with 669
Added a & at the end of line 256 in wrt_tides.F and compiled okay.

compile error with 669
Not sure if this is critical or not but got this error when compiling PGF90-S-0155-Unexpected continuation (wrt_tides.f90: 257) PGF90-S-0023-Syntax error - unbalanced parentheses (wrt_tides.f90: 256) 0 inform, 0 warnings, 2 severes, 0 fatal for wrt_tides make: *** [/home/tnmiles/ROMS/projects/storms ...

change zeta to mllw at a coastal boundary
Is there a method for directly comparing ROMS zeta at a coastal boundary to a NOAA tidal-record/water-level observation?

Extracting depth associated with each level
I'm extracting data on s-levels but want to know what depths the points in each of these levels are associated with as a 2-d grid. Would I have to calculate this using the stretching parameter, or is there an easy way to output this? I'm currently using roms_sview to get each levels u and v data ...
