Drifters data at Brazilian waters - MONDO Project
Posted: Thu Jun 05, 2008 1:25 pm
Dear all,
Just to announce for who might be interested that there are real-time drifters data available for Brazilian Southwestern Bight as a result of MONDO Project. In this project 40 drifters were deployed from a single point (aprox. 24.4o S | 43.75o W) during 2 months (Set-Nov 2007). The dataset can be used to investigate Brazil Current and now also the South Atlantic Current. I thought this could be of use for the ones interested in studying this region, due to the lack of available ocean data here. For more information, please visit www.prooceano.com.br/mondo
