preparing NetCDF forcing and initialization files

Are there a guidance and tools to build forcing and initialization files in NetCDF format for ROMS 3.0 ? I will use gridded data as input to ROMS.

It is based on Matlab. It helps to generate the file for ROMS_AGRIF but I think it will work also for ROMS 3.0 (anyone knows for shure?)
