Postdoctoral /Research Associate Position

A research position in ocean modeling is available in Department of Mathematics & Atmospheric, Marine and Environmental Program (AMCE), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Applicants are sought with primary focus on numerical modeling to develop an understanding of multi-scale oceanic circulation and ecosystem in the South China Sea, continental shelf and Pearl River Estuary in the Northern China Sea. Requires a Ph.D in physical oceanography, atmospheric science, or a related field with experiences in numerical modeling and programming skills. The monthly salary range is $HK 20,000-30,000/month (7.8 HK$=1 US$) depending upon qualifications.
