Hello to all
I would like to know if Anyone of You have tried to download HYCOM data after 2012, specifically the GLBu0.08/expt_91.1 and GLBu0.08/91.2 experiments?
I have this script (file attached) that works good for the GLBu0.08/19.1, but cannot make it work for the 91.1 & 91.2 experiments
Thanks in advance and have a nice day

Re: About HYCOM data download
Hi lalvarez!
I'm working with the HYCOM files too (but the GLBv0.08 analysis).
I tried to download one file from the GLBu0.08 to test it but I got this message :
I found the same for GLBu0.08 which seems to be available from 2014 only. (https://hycom.org/data/glbu0pt08/expt-91pt1).
Be careful, it seems that some days are missing (I had the problem).
There is a lot of different analysis on the HYCOM site : https://hycom.org/dataserver
There is some examples with pyroms (python tools which are available on the forum) to download and "formate" the HYCOM files as initial state and boundaries for ROMS configuration. They are based on GLBa0.08 and just need to be a bit adapted to download other HYCOM files.

So I look further for description of this analysis and i found that : https://hycom.org/data/glbu0pt08/expt-91pt2 which explains that the only time subset which is available is from 2016 .Requested time range 1999-04-18T00:00:00Z - 1999-06-20T00:00:00Z does not intersect actual time range 2016-04-18T00:00:00Z - 2018-06-20T00:00:00Z
