Dear Roms User
When I ran roms model with coarse resolution segrid mesh than everything is going ok
But when I increase the resolution (fine resolution) there is problem in zeta value its going more than 15 meter .
So could you tell me why it is happening
Thanks & regard

Problem to simulating ROMS model with high resolution segrid
Re: Problem to simulating ROMS model with high resolution se
We can't know what your problem is with just that much information. Can you show us your grid? A picture of the blow-up before it gets completely bad? If you want reasons to blame SeaGrid, your grid is probably not completely orthogonal. The algorithm used in SeaGrid is designed to be iterated to reduce the orthogonality errors, but SeaGrid does not do that. If you didn't get the mex stuff to compile, it will run without even calling "rect" once. Using ROMS on a non-orthogonal grid won't necessarily cause it to blow up, though, or you'd be seeing a lot more such complaints.

I am attaching my grid and picture of zeta u-velocity and v-velocity at last time where model was blown up
thanks®ard

Re: Problem to simulating ROMS model with high resolution se
sorry I forgot to attached zeta value
now I am attaching zeta
now I am attaching zeta

You did change your timestep with going to a finer grid, didn't you? What's with that line along 20N separating blue from green in the zeta plot?
