Sorry,but i just keep get the result like this (surface water tempera)! just wonder what will be the reason,horizontal mixing/advection or other problems?

I'm afraid I have no idea what we're looking at. Can you zoom in so we can see the numbers on the colorbar? What field is this? More information about your setup and your forcing might also help us help you.

Hi,Kate,Sorry for the picture. Its the surface temperature. The result is not the output of ROMS, just very curious what is the cause for this pattern,and how to resolve that? this bother me so long time?

You're asking for help for an unstructured mesh model of which we know nothing? It could be anything, from vertical mixing to weird lateral mixing to outright bugs in the algorithms.
