- A user short course (2 days), for those interested in learning more about applying ROMS to polar applications, and
- A user short course (1 day), for those interested in learning more about data assimilation (4D-Var).
- Variational methods and applications (4DVAR and Ensemble Kalman)
- sea ice/ocean/atmosphere modelling
- ice sheet/ocean modelling
- General coupled modelling
- Advances in coastal modelling: nesting
The workshop will be held at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies building on the Hobart Waterfront, Tasmania, Australia. Hobart is Australia's hub for Antarctic and Southern Ocean activities, such as scientific research and education.
