DUTIES: The individual selected for this position will:
Leads assigned teams, working groups and committees related to physical and operational applications and products in support of CO-OPS water level, current, modeling and prediction activities.
Operates and maintains hydrodynamic models in an operational environment
Writes technical reports and SOPs; develops presentation and trainings to be given to internal working groups; mentors, apprentice and journeyman level physical scientists.
Develops and transitions hydrodynamic models to an operational environment following established priority designations and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
