Coupling test: swan output cannot combine?

#1 Unread post by txu68 »

Hello,

I am running the SWAN and ROMS coupling model with a plane beach using inlet_test.h. It ran smoothly until the end. I got the error message as,

0: Subscript out of range for array oqi (swanparll.f90: 3934)
subscript=3, lower bound=32767, upper bound=-1407940773, dimension=1

In swanparll.f90, this corresponds to,

SUBROUTINE SWCOLBLK ( RTYPE , OQI, OQR, IVTYP, FAC , 41.40
& PSNAME, MXK, MYK, IRQ , BLKND, 40.51
& XC , YC, ng ) 40.51

Can anyone help me on this?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Amy

if you are running coupled roms+swan, i suggest you use coawst. if you need access to coawst, please send me an email to jcwarner@usgs.gov.
if you are using coawst and posting an issue, please post it on
https://coawstmodel-trac.sourcerepo.com ... el_COAWST/
or just send me an email.
in short for a quick response, it looks like swan did not complete correctly. this may be because roms died early and the job ended. not sure. need to see the entire std out.
