Postdoctoral Research Fellow – Connectivity and Climate Change: A$77K - A$82K per year (plus 17% employer superannuation contributions and leave loading).
The project involves an investigation of climate change impacts in the East Australian Current, with a focus on changes to circulation, nutrient delivery and connectivity at spatial scales relevant to ecological applications. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a multidisciplinary project with a diverse team of leading oceanographers and ecologists. Scope exists to investigate questions such as upwelling and connectivity within the EAC region under both extant conditions and forecast climate change scenarios. Candidates with regional modelling skills (e.g. ROMS, HYCOM) are encouraged to apply, with preference give to those who also have experience in connectivity modelling or climate change.
