Anyone has tried to compile the same code with different compilers? It would be nice to know what compiler gives the fastest speeds: Intel? PG? Pathscale?
Our experience is that the pgi compiler produces faster code in the our opteron-250 cluster. We have ifc, ifort, pathscale, pgi, and g95 installed in our cluster.
