I've been switching from Matlab to Python after seeing some of the python's capabilities in the last ROMS workshop (Thanks Rob and Kate!!!). I have to say, it's easier than I though was gonna be.
I downloaded the python tools for roms using "svn co http://pong.tamu.edu/svn/python/trunk/ python-roms" from the ROMS webpage. when I run the test.py in the roms directory I got the following error message "No module named netCDF4_classic". I checked online and I think the module netCDF4_classic was changed for netCDF4 some time ago. Is there a more updated version of the python-roms tools? I got version 171 or Am I missing something in my setup?.
Thanks
Diego

Re: Question about python-roms tools
If I remember correctly, Rob has stopped the development of pyroms for some time, try octant.
