Error with the command mex

I'm creating a grid file with matlab and seagrid.
I'm following what is write in the file MAIN_grid.m.

The error is:

>> mex rnt_hindicesTRI_mex.f
g95: Unrecognized option '-c'

mex: compile of 'rnt_hindicesTRI_mex.f' failed.

??? Error using ==> mex at 206
Unable to complete successfully.
