I want to use ROMS to simulate the barotropic tide in the Indian Ocean region. My model domain extends from 30S to 30N and from 30E to 120E . The ROMS version presently I am using is 3.2 from Rutgers university.
I have the following question.
The ROMS setup that I obtained was for wind-forced circulation and I have done the following so far: dropped the baroclinic modes and included forcing for tides. How do I switch off other forcing fields, i.e., the bulk fluxes and wind forcing? How do I set up ROMS purely for tides?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I presently have one barotropic model setup running with only tidal forcing. The options I have used in the *.h file are given on the following page:

under the topic "Some basic questions related to 2D current modeling in ROMS"
The model is still running, and all seems OK, so this could be a start.
