Well, this is not a *real* bug. However, in the "official" downloadable ROMS tar file, the time ramping parameter in clm_tides.F has a default value not equal to 1.
While the default setting
ramp=tanh (tdays(ng)-dstart)/1)
may be fine for spinning up at rest, it can be misleading when doing restarting from a previous solution, producing a jump in the tidal forcing. I think that this value should be 1 as default or at least users should be somewhat worn of it.
