Coastal Ocean Modeling Gordon Conf: June 26 - July 1, 2011

The Gordon Conference on Coastal Ocean Modeling brings together researchers who are established leaders in the field, as well as mid-career and young scientists actively working on simulating physical and bio-geochemical processes in the coastal ocean.

In 2011, the session themes are
  • Estuarine and Coastal Processes
    Predictability and Data Assimilation
    Nearshore Processes
    Applied Prediction (Deepwater Horizon Incident)
    Advances in Numerics
    Regional Impacts of Climate
    Ecosystem Simulation
    Bio-Optics
    Submesoscale Processes.
The conference is being held June 26 - July 1, 2011, at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts.

Applications for this meeting must be submitted by May 29, 2011. Please apply early, as some meetings become oversubscribed (full) before this deadline. Applications for oversubscribed meetings will only be considered by the Conference Chair if more seats become available due to cancellations.
