Hi,
I am having problems with setting analytical point source. Do i understand it correctly that to set a direction of the inflow water i have to set Dsrc (0 toward east and 1 toward north. or when 0.5 then it would give NE wind?) and Qbar (when positive then along u or v direction and negative to -u and -v direction).
So when i put Dsrc = 0.5 and Qbar= negative/positive mass flux i get flow in NE or SW direction?
But using this i can not figure out how to make my river inflow go to NW direction (as well as it would be impossible to get SE directed flow?). I must have missed/misunderstood something or is it really not possible to do it analytically?
river flowing to NW direction
Re: river flowing to NW direction
You will need two sources, one going west and one going north. Each source is along one grid face.
