Need Fortran codes for generating ROMS grid, mask, bathmtry

Do FORTRAN Codes (similar to the matlab tools) that generate ROMS grid, mask, bathymetry, initial condition and boundary condition exist?

I use Fortran for grid generation and bathymetry, but use Matlab to edit the land mask. The grid stuff is here, perhaps not quite up to date. There's an old dusty manual linked from here.

There's also a movement afoot to replace this all with the C language gridgen using a python wrapper. Check out octant for both.
