HDF5 file for initial input in Model ROMS

Hello, I'm Parikesit, I'm Indonesian, I have run my first ROMS model in Java Sea and It have completed. But I have problem in Data output management that my output for 1 year simulation have big size memory, they are almost 8 TB, So I convert those output data into HDF5 format (.hdf5). Unfortunately, I'm not sure this action will work to be as input model for the future or for another model tools like ecosystem and many others. I just ask about can the HDF5 file is used for intial input in model ROMS? and how to use it? If they cannot do that, anyone can give me advice how to solve this problem?

Your initial conditions file only needs a single timestep, so I would subset your year of data and just write the model start time data into a ROMS-compatible NetCDF file.
