I'm having a difficult time trying to run the ROMS model on a local lake. The error states that the blow-up is because of the maxdensity, here 7.3*10⁵. How do I correct it?

WRT_RST_NF90 - wrote re-start fields (Index=2,2) in record = 1
Fyi, the bathymetry is smoothed and ROMS manage to run the first timestep before blown-up.

I figured it out eventually. The shortwave radiation values generated from the forcingfile were way to high, and therefore the total energy became extremely negative after just one time step

can you please tell what changes have you made to the header file/input file in order to solve the issue. I am very new to ROMS and I am also getting similar error.

number of time records written in RESTART file = 1
Analytical header files used:

ROMS/Functionals/ana_nudgcoef.h
MAIN: Abnormal termination: BLOWUP.
REASON: MaxDensity = 3.7E+02
