This position will be part of the NRN-LCEE QUOTIENT (Quantification, Optimisation, and Environmental Impacts of Marine Renewable Energy) project (http://nrn-lcee.ac.uk/quotient/index.php.en), which is a collaboration between Bangor, Swansea and Cardiff Universities, aiming to examine how wave and tidal energy resources interact with one another. The successful applicant will use CFD models to investigate how tidal stream turbine performance is affected by upstream obstructions, particularly in the context of turbine arrays.
