Help for a beginner

Hi guys
I am totally new to oceanography and ocean modeling. I have got ROMS installed but I was wondering if i could get some startup guidelines as to how to use it? I want to model larval dispersal.

There is a ROMS wiki. Some of the information there comes from a roms manual. Learn what you can from those sources, then if you're still stuck, you can try your luck here.
