dears all
i know that DT and number of time step defined in ocean_xxx.in file.
but i want to know there is this ability to determine start and end time of simulation?
if it is possible please tell me where i can define them ?
cheers

Re: start and end tome
Perhaps DSTART and TIME_REF in the ocean.in file are what you are looking for?
Re: start and end tome
dear Kate
thanks
it makes me confused. base on various test it seems that DSTRAT is for defining simulation's start time (julian day) but user determine TIME_REF as a time which shown in output files. for example in latte test DSTRAT=94 (equal to BCE 4713 April 04 12:00:00.0 UT Thursday) but TIME_REF is equal to 2006-01-01 00:00:00 and two time are different? can you help e again

Hernan response on this subject:

is useful for your problem.
Since you TIME_REF is equal to 2006-01-01 and DSTART=94. The simulation begins 94 days after 2006-01-01
