I'm trying to install ROMS but without success. I've installed svn and use the command,
svn checkout --username name@institution.edu https://www.myroms.org/svn/src/trunk mydir
I am prompted for my password and after entering it get,
svn: access to 'https://www.myroms.org/svn/src/trunk' forbidden
I'm sure it is the correct user name and password as they work here and I just had them e-mailed to me to double check. I've tried escaping the @ in my username (\@) with no change. Is the @ in my username the problem? If so should I re-apply for access or can someone change my username? I see where I can change my info, but I can't change the username.
Thanks,
Scott

Re: svn access forbidden username with 'at' problem?
So, I'm responding to my own post. Yes that seems to be the problem. My new username without the "@" works just fine.
