Hi everybody, I'm running 1-year model, About 4 months after running my model, the electricity was cut off and I could not launch perfect-restart in the model because I do not know how to change the header and input settings. Hi everybody,
As jcwarner said, it was for the Era data, and it was because of the pressure that displayed 100 times larger in the ROMS output.
thanks a lot

Regarding your last sentence about salinity and temperature, do you mean that I should take salinity and temperature data
from databases such as Hycom or something else and enter it in the model as an input file?

I had a question about boundary conditions and according to the topic I asked earlier in the forum (ERA5_wind_problem): https://www.myroms.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5998 According to wilkin's tips, I realized that I would get better results if I used the Rad mode and also changed the visc value. Hi Wilkin, As you said, I use Rad for u and v, and RadNud for the free surface(but my nudging time scale is zero). Although the boundary file is read, it does not affect anything inside the domain. It is as if the edge of the border is stuck(It is visible in 2D mode) and does not allow it to be ...

I used romstools for creating grid and tide and run the model

how can I prepare the zeta parameter? thanks
