Make sure that you have correct paths for NETCDF libraries as you had in COAWST installation.
Also I added "-lnetcdf" and "-lnetcdff" flags along with compiler flags in the makefile for SCRIP to get
compiled.
COMPILE = ifort -lnetcdf -lnetcdff
