one a simple way is to install netcdf with following command in Ubuntu:
apt-get install *netcdf*
it will set netcdf.mod, netcdf.h and nc-config in you system automatically.

It will be solved by adding some directories path into MATLAB, which include old functions for netCDF(such as nc_read) :

By checking zeta values in restart file, it has about 2 meter value in right side.i thinks that is because of westerly wind which push water to that side. Do you have any suggestion for me to solve it?

i know that d_ecmwf2roms.m updated recently. But in new version for 'Qair', its variable's name (v2d) have not changed to d2m. because in ECMWF-interim data this variables named as a d2m. and also v2t and v2d should be changed to t2m and d2m, respectively.
